Chief Executive Officer
Beth is CEO and Co-Founder of Catalyst, and drives the overall expansion of the organization through organic growth, and strategic acquisitions. During her 14 years of presiding over Catalyst, Beth has constantly facilitated double digit growth for the company. In 2006, Beth was instrumental in negotiating the acquisition of Catalyst by WPP, the world leader in marketing communications services. In addition to overseeing the operations and strategic direction of Catalyst, she is responsible for the development of the search and social partnership between Catalyst and GroupM.
Prior to founding Catalyst, Beth began her career with Pfizer as pharmaceuticals representative, where she won multiple achievement awards. Her first foray into online marketing was with HealthGate Data Corp when the internet was in its infancy. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Hartwick College. Currently Beth is an active member of the WPP Digital Advisory Board, SEMPO, SEMNE and Google’s SEM Agency Leadership Council.
Head of Delivery
Lee is a seasoned manager critical to establishing Catalysts internal operations and processes. He is an integral player in developing innovative technologies and reporting for our clients. Lee has over twenty years’ experience in managing technologies, projects, and departments, including more than six years in internet development.
Lee’s prior employment was at Agency.com where he was the Regional Vice President for Operations and Project Management. Lee’s career started at Lotus Development where he built Lotus’ primary applications and data bases for sales, marketing, manufacturing, and finance.
Head of Integrated Digital Planning
Since joining Catalyst, Tim has helped Catalyst become an industry leader in developing and managing strategic and innovative search marketing campaigns for our clients. Pioneering our Strategy and Analytics team, Tim developed content strategy offerings as well as competitive reporting. Currently he manages multiple client services teams maintaining relations with our partner agencies. Tim brings more than twenty-seven years of business development and marketing experience to Catalyst including fifteen years of internet marketing experience.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Tim was the global director of e-commerce for Lycos where he developed innovative subscription based services for the international network of Terra Lycos properties. Prior to Lycos, Tim was the marketing manager for one of the internet’s most visited websites, Intellicast.com. Tim began his career at WSI Corporation where he developed real-time information systems for the aviation industry including the FAA, American Airlines, and Boeing.
Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining Catalyst as the CFO, Frank was the North American Finance Director for GroupM for 5 years. Before joining GroupM, Frank spent 10 years in public accounting and provided accounting and auditing services to a wide variety of clients, including publicly traded companies and healthcare providers. In addition, Frank spent 2 years as the Corporate Controller of a publicly traded company (+$600 million in annual revenues) and was responsible for the day-to-day finance operations as well as all SEC filings. Frank is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Managing Partner, Marketing Integration
Kerry Curran, Sr. Partner, Managing Director, Marketing Integration, Catalyst/GroupM, has over 18 years of experience in client services, business development, and digital marketing. A passionate digital strategist, Kerry has driven business results through Search and Social channels across multiple industries for many Fortune 1000 clients including: P&G, American Express, Kraft, Assurant, Sears, Avon, Land Rover, Castrol, Lindt, Unilever, GE, TJX, Victoria’s Secret, Liberty Mutual, Goodyear, and BlackRock.
As the Sr. Partner, Managing Director, Marketing Integration, Kerry currently leads the business development and marketing for all Search and Social business within GroupM.
Kerry’s prior experience includes VP/Group Director at DigitasLBi, where she led a team of 28 Search Marketing practitioners to successfully manage client programs across eCommerce, lead generation, and brand engagement through the use of cross channel tactics including, programmatic display, paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, and aggregator marketing.
As the GroupM Search & Social Director of Client Development, Kerry also led a team focused on developing consumer-centric, cross-channel strategies to increase customer engagement, and providing solutions to client business challenges through customized Search and Social strategies. Her experience includes developing enterprise search and social programs integrated with digital and traditional media plans as well as global search programs.
