Name: Ericka Kane

Title: Partner, Media Operations

How long have you worked at Catalyst: I have been at Catalyst for over eight years.

How long have you worked in digital and what type of clients have you worked on?

I’ve worked in digital media and marketing for 15+ years both agency & client side and I have worked in B2B, B2C, CPG, pharma and safety certification industries.

How did you get your start in digital marketing?

I started in digital search working for a B2B Test & Measurement Equipment manufacturer when paid search ads were at their infancy and Google PPC was a pure bidding auction.

What do you like most about working at Catalyst?

Hands down the people and the culture! Being behind the scenes in media operations, I get to work with a variety of smart, intelligent, hardworking people across many disciplines from account teams and finance.

What has been your greatest achievement or success in digital marketing?

While no longer in account management, my greatest achievement in media operations is ensuring that our clients’ media financials align to their budgets and that our suppliers get paid timely so that our account teams can focus on optimizing and running the clients’ campaigns efficiently.

If you had to give one recommendation to an advertiser who wants to use performance marketing to achieve business results, what would it be?

Be open to testing and change! The digital marketing landscape is everchanging and advertisers who are open to new concepts & ideas will reap the benefits.

Share a fun fact about yourself.

I’m obsessed with golf! I love to play and watch. Each year, I travel to a different PGA event to watch the pros.  My favorite course so far has been TPC Sawgrass and the “Island Green” hole 17.
