More on the 4A’s and its Social Media Committee

American Association of Advertising Agencies

The 4A’s was founded in 1917 as a national trade association to represent U.S. advertising agencies. Today, it’s an esteemed organization that provides counsel to its members on everything from new business to succession planning to media transparency. The 4A’s has multiple committees that are specific to various types of advertising as well as the major functions found in an advertising agency. The committees meet several times a year to discuss industry challenges, trends, and innovative ways to support its members.

The goal of the 4A’s Social Media Committee is to legitimize, standardize, and institutionalize the discipline of social media marketing within the broader advertising industry. Committee members achieve this through educational initiatives, collaboration amongst our peers, and promotion of shared interests among member agencies.

As the 4A’s Social Media Committee Co-Chair, Lauren will act as a resource for members and thought-leader for the social media industry; define and champion best practices for social media marketing and advertising; and inspire, recognize and develop future talent.
