Congratulations are in order! We are proud to announce that Catalyst has won the 2018 Search Engine Land Award for “Best Research Initiative by an Agency” for our Age of Amazon research and report. What are the Search Engine Land Awards?
The Search Engine Land Awards, or “Landy’s” recognize and honor the search industry’s most outstanding campaigns, agencies and individuals. The 2018 awards included a total of 25 award categories. Winners were selected from a wide range of agencies, in-house teams, and industry leaders.
Best Research Initiative by an Agency: The Age of Amazon
Catalyst’s “Age of Amazon” report won the award program’s newest category, “Best Research Initiative by an Agency.” The new category honors innovation in scientific based research and published findings that move the search industry forward through proven hypotheses, quantifiable results and qualitative, actionable insights. Applicants were judged on the overall value that their research provided to the search industry at large.
Capitalizing on the Amazon Opportunity
Catalyst’s “Age of Amazon” report and research has had a significant impact on advertisers and agencies alike. Executed in partnership with ClickZ Intelligence, the report provides rigorous research on how B2C advertisers are approaching Amazon’s search marketing opportunities and how brands can maximize sales potential through SEO and paid media on Amazon. From insights around AMS adoption to challenges surrounding Amazon paid and organic integration to comprehensive consumer shopping and buying patterns, the study includes many findings that can help advertisers start or enhance their Amazon marketing programs.
The study’s largest finding was that many advertisers are planning to increase their Amazon media budgets without a clearly defined strategy.
