Name: Roman Ducotterd

How long have you worked at Catalyst?  I’m fairly new to Catalyst. I actually just joined the team this year, but I have already enjoyed my experience here and have learned a lot along the way.

What do you like most about working at Catalyst?

I’ve really value the support that I have received from my team members, manager, and broader community. I’m part of an excellent team and everyone has been very friendly and extremely helpful.

What has been your greatest achievement or success in digital?

My greatest achievement has been running performance marketing and digital commerce campaigns to help support clients’ businesses and drive positive results.

In your opinion, what is the most important digital trend or change for 2021?

Since I work in the digital commerce space, I would say that the most important change for 2021 already happened in 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated change in the ecommerce landscape, particularly around the way people shop for their favorite brands and for groceries. A good example is the Instacart boom. Even though things may go back to normal soon, I believe that this trend will remain.

If you had to give one recommendation to an advertiser who wants to use performance marketing to achieve business results, what would it be?

My advice would be to not be afraid to invest, by that I mean strategically allocate enough funds for the different campaigns to perform at the desired benchmark and beyond. Another piece of advice would be to not be afraid to test new channels, opportunities, or platforms.

I am originally from a tropical island full of stunning sunsets and amazing foods and fruits. I love pineapples, passion fruits, and litchees
