Title: Senior Associate, Paid Search

How long have you worked at Catalyst?

I have worked at Catalyst for a year and a half.

How did you get your start in paid search?

I graduated with a degree in communications and advertising. I was interested in learning more about the advertising industry and that’s when I found Catalyst and decided to apply!

What do you like most about working at Catalyst?

At Catalyst I’ve really enjoyed working with supportive and intelligent people. Everyone I work with is so driven to produce the best work possible for our clients and along the way, I’ve learned so much from my team in such a short amount of time.

What has been your greatest achievement or success in paid search?

My greatest achievement so far has been the partnership expansion between my team and client. We’ve extended our reach into additional markets across different regions and I am so proud of the work my team and I have done.

In your opinion, what is the most important digital trend or change for 2021?

I’d say automation has become an important trend in 2021. The innovation of machine-learning through features such as responsive search ads and automated bid strategies helps take the guesswork out of optimization.

If you had to give one recommendation to an advertiser who wants to use performance marketing to achieve business results, what would it be?

Advertisers should keep in mind that the consumer journey isn’t linear and that there are multiple touchpoints throughout the journey. Don’t be afraid to try new ideas or test new methods, and remember, you’re a consumer yourself, so tap into your own experience as well.

Share a fun fact about yourself.

Running a half marathon is on my bucket list!
