Google Announces Product Updates & New Features

GOOGLE UPDATES: BETTER RESULTS, SIMPLER EXPERIENCES, & STRONGER COLLABORATION

Google’s annual performance marketing summit, Google Marketing Live, took place this week in San Jose from July 9th – July 11th. At the conference, Google announced a number of product updates that echo Google’s commitment to better results, simpler experiences, and stronger collaboration. Catalyst’s new POV, “GOOGLE ANNOUNCES NEW PRODUCTS & FEATURES,” explores the changes and their implications for your marketing.

Better Results

From Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) to cross device reporting, Google is updating their products and adding new features to make it easier than ever for advertisers to drive better results. They are also rolling out TrueView for Reach and TrueView for Action Enhancements. Download our POV to learn more about these updates.

 Simpler Experiences

With the launch of Smart Campaigns, and changes to Shopping Campaigns, Local Campaigns, and Hotel Campaigns, Google is making it easier and faster to build campaigns that effectively reach your audience.

 Stronger Collaboration

To tear down siloes between marketing/data and creative teams, Google is rebranding many of its products to foster collaboration and seamless experiences. As part of this, AdWords will become Google Ads, DoubleClick and Google Analytics 360 Suite will become Google Marketing Platform and DoubleClick for Publishers and DoubleClick Ad Exchange will become Google Ad Manager. DoubleClick for Search will be referred to as Search Ads 360.  By end of year, advertisers will be able to access these products using a single sign-on, making the navigation between systems more seamless.
